Lois Tilley Roos, a resident of Bernalillo since 1973, died at her home in Bernalillo on Thursday, September 7, 2000. She is survived by Homer, her husband of 55 years; her son, Joe and his wife, Sheryl of Rio Rancho; and various other family members. Interment is at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2000, 10:00 a.m., at the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, in Rio Rancho (Sara Road at Meadowlark Lane). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to the Animal Humane Association in memory of Lois, who always loved animals, and to whom animal shelter adoptions were important. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mrs. Roos, (891-8200).
