Stephen Kawka, 82, a resident of Albuquerque for 14 years, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen Kawka of Albuquerque; son, Stanley Kawka and wife, Nancy of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jennifer and Christina; brothers, Tony and John Kawka; sister, Olga Daniele and many other family and friends. Steve served in the US Navy and civil service. Burial will take place at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
