Adelle Humphrey, 86, died Thursday, September 7, 2000 in a local nursing home. Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 11, 2000 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel with Rev. Jimmy Griffith officiating Services directed by Starbuck Funeral Home. Mrs. Humphrey was born in Callahan County, TX on December 28, 1913. She married L.M."Larry" Humphrey, December 20, 1940 in Abilene. She was a homemaker, member of the Eastern Star and Asbury United Methodist Church in Albuquerque, NM. Survivors include her husband, L.M."Larry" Humphrey of Merkel; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Pat Humphrey of Lihue, HI; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bob Knisley of Albuquerque, NM; a brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Mae Bockman of Merkel; two grandchildren, Marcia Chase and Jason Humphrey.
