Mrs. Mary Gianera Fleming, age 95, of Panama City, FL, died Monday, September 4 2000 at a local hospital. She was born in Socorro and had been a resident of this area since 1978, moving her from Kansas City, Missouri. Mrs. Fleming was Catholic by faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Fleming worked hard all her life, and she enjoyed traveling and collecting coins. She is survived by her daughter, Frances Wood and her husband, Jim of Panama City; a son, Anthony"Tony" Apodaca and wife, Dorothy of Santa Fe; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; and four brothers. A private memorial service will be held in Socorro at a later date.
