Sylvia Molinar, 61, passed away at Lovelace Medical Center, September 1, 2000, after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her father, James M. Sumners; an aunt and uncle, Charline and Eddie Martin; aunts, Jessie Thompson and Juanita Jerikins. She is survived by son, Greg Molinar; mother, Eleanor Sumners, both of Albuquerque; brother, Charles Sumners of El Paso; nephew, Brett Sumners; cousins, Pat Lobb, Earline Thompson, Tricia Crawford, Tammy Callaway, Dedyra Means; and other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Carlisle Plaza United Methodist Church, 3023 Montclaire NE, with visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2000, Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6, with Pastor Gerard Kaye officiating.
