Penelope Papafrangos Katson, born in Springfield, MA, February 16, 1914, passed away August 31, 2000 in Albuquerque, after a short illness. A Trisagion will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2000, with visitation until 9:00 p.m. in Palm Chapel at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2000, at St. George Orthodox Church, 308 High St. SE. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
