Christina Jarchow was born July 24, 1898 to John and Mary Schromm Schaefer in Nenzel, Nebraska. She passed away September 27, 2000 in Albuquerque. Christina's early years were spent in Nenzel and Cody, Nebraska. She moved to Albuquerque in 1970 to be near her daughter and son-in-law, Geneva and Bill Provins. Christina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; a step-daughter, June Peterson; four sisters, Mary Schaefer, Magdalene Bell, Regina Hull, Anne Vawser and a brother, Ted. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and their families; many nieces and nephews, all of whom were dearly loved. Cremation has taken place. No local services are planned. A celebration of Christina's life will be held in Nebraska at a later date. Arrangements by Sunrise Society of NM, 891-8200.
