Obituary for Franzmeier

Howard W. Franzmeier, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1963, died on Tuesday, September 26, 2000. He is survived by his sons, Lawrence L. Franzmeier of Albuquerque and William E. Franzmeier and wife, Rose of Seattle, WA; daughter, Gail A. Hamblet and husband, Albert, III of Tijeras; granddaughter, Terra Lynn Goldberg and husband, Jeffrey of Los Lunas; four grandsons, Eric Jackson and wife, Carol of New Orleans, LA, Cory Franzmeier of Seattle, WA, Albert Hamblet, IV of Albuquerque and Adam Hamblet of Tijeras and one great-granddaughter. Mr. Franzmeier was a member of the Elks Lodge and Sombra del Monte Christian Church. Both he and his late wife, Elberta were long time volunteers at the Veterans Hospital. Services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2000, 1:00 p.m. at Sombra del Monte, 2528 Utah Street NE., with Daniel Feltner-Kapornyai, Officiating. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
