Obituary for Benn

Gayle Louise Kellogg Benn, 40, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 28 years, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2000 following a brief illness. Gayle was a generous and giving person who always put others before herself and she touched the lives of many in small and large ways. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Harriet E. Kellogg. Gayle's loving presence will be missing from the lives of her husband, Clayton W. Benn of Albuquerque; father, Gordon H. Kellogg of Rio Rancho; sister, Sue H. Kellogg of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Glen E. Kellogg and wife, Diane and nephews, Sean and Erik all of Ashland, VA; uncle and aunt, Harry and Lynda Kellogg of Old Forge, NY; uncle and aunt, James and Shirley McCann of Apalachin, NY, six cousins, Tawna, Richard, Michael, Diane, John and Karen; dear family friend and godmother, Jimmie Sue Fish of Richmond, VA, father and mother-in-law, Ted and Jean Benn of Rio Rancho; Grandmother, Emma W. Benn of Rio Rancho; brother-in-law, Mark Benn and wife, Fran of Rio Rancho, nephews, Justin and wife, Danielle, and Bill and wife, Sandra and their children, niece, Barbara and children; sister-in law, Andrea Yarbrough and husband, Mark; nephews, Brian and Scott all of Rio Rancho, uncle and aunt, Al and Dianne Benedetto of Rio Rancho; aunt, Enid Perez of Bendara, TX; Sandra and Arno Rosenberger of Owego, NY, and numerous cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
