Merretta Christine Stephens, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1989, died, Saturday, May 27, 2000. She is survived by son, Howard P. Stephens and wife, Virginia A.; daughter, Genevieve L. Stephens, all of Albuquerque; sister, Erla Honig of Long Beach, CA; five grandchildren, Robert S. Trautloff, Julie A. Terrell, Brandon P. Stephens, Bergen P. Stephens and Bennington P. Stephens; and two great-grandchildren, David Trautloff and Timothy Trautloff. Mrs. Stephens was a member of Netherwood Park Church of Christ. Services are pending. Interment will take place at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA. Pallbearers will be Brandon Stephens, Bergen Stephens and Bennington Stephens. Honorary pallbearers will be Julie Terrell, Robert S. Trautloff, Robert E. Trautloff and Andrew M. Honig. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
