Obituary for Thompson

Betty Lee Thompson was born on May 23, 1929 in Prescott, Arizona to Lee and Cora Parmenter. On May 22, 2000, Betty went home to the Father after a lengthy illness resulting from a cerebral hemorrhage. She is survived by her husband, James; four sons, Jim, Ron, Phillip, Jeff and their wives; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Helen, Virginia and Jean. A devoted mother and a loving wife, she successfully raised her sons in a loving and caring environment. An active member of the Church of Christ, her passion was the study of the Scriptures; this allowed her to be an exceptional bible teacher. She taught numerous classes for women along with numerous private studies. Her love of Christ was not surpassed by anything, with her family next. There will be a viewing service, Friday, May 28, 2000, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Albuquerque Bible Church Building, 320 Montano NW, Albuquerque, NM, followed by a Funeral service Saturday, May 27, 2000, 11:00 a.m., at the same location.
