Obituary for Kravitz

Vera Gilmore Kravitz, 86, and a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, passed away on May 24, 2000. She was born in Snyder, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Kravitz and her parents, Vencil and Charles Miller. She is survived by her son, William Gilmore and wife, Nola; her daughter, Michele Diel and her sons, Robert and Eduard; sister, Fay Baker of Lamar, CO; grandchildren, Garry Gilmore and wife, and family, and Gayle Gilmore; and two nieces, Janet Kay Ranch and Georgia Ann Sullivan. Mrs. Kravitz was an avid golfer in the 1950's through the 1970's. She won numerous golf championships in West Texas and New Mexico, and was very proud of her five holes-in-one during her golfing career. She also enjoyed her flower garden and knitting. She and her husband were very generous with donations to various charities. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, at Vista Verde Memorial Park Mausoleum, in Rio Rancho.
