Laura Haines Schwass, 97, a resident of Albuquerque since 1989, died Sunday, April 30, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Wymer and husband, Fred; son, Charles E. Schwass all of Albuquerque; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and very dear friend, Dorothy Launius of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband,Paul Jensen and Harley Schwass; daughters, Mary Lois, Dorothea; and son, Bruce. She was a member of the Moose Lodge. Services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming, NE with Pastor Rick Donaho, officiating. Graveside services will be at Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Park, IL, on Saturday, May 6, 2000. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming NE, Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Association for Retarded Citizens of New Mexico, 3500 Comanche, NE, 87110 or to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas, NE, 87110.
