Obituary for Buchalter

Alfred"Buck" Buchalter, 67, a nine years resident of Albuquerque, passed away suddenly Sunday, April 23, 2000, from a broken heart. He was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on November 17, 1932 to Anna and Benjamin Buchalter of Hattiesburg, MS. He was the 2nd of three children. He married Dorothy F. Buchalter, his wife of nearly 48 years, on April 12, 1952 in Fresno, California. He was accompanied by Dottie during his 20 year career in the U.S. Air Force to assignments all over the US and Germany. He was a paralegal most of his career. The couple resided in Lubbock, Texas almost 17 years, eventually retiring in Albuquerque. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed travel, reading, and photography. He is survived by his son, Michael Buchalter and his wife, Elisabeth and grandsons, Quentin and Clifford; and brother, Irving Buchalter. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2000, 1:30 p.m., at Congregation Albert, 3800 Louisiana Blvd. NE.
