Frederick J. Stecher, 69 years, a resident of Rio Rancho for six years, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Greda Stecher; two daughters, Karin Atkinson and husband, Gary and Ingrid Reade and husband, Rob; one grandchild, Karly Atkinson; two brothers, Andrew Stecher of Florida and Hans Stecher of Germany; and many family members and friends. He was a member of the Meadowlark Senior Center's Fishing Club. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2000, 11:30 a.m., at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia Society of America, New Mexico Branch, 1709 Moon St. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. Cremation arrangements are by Sunrise Society of New Mexico, 891-8200.
