Obituary for Jackson

Joyce Elois Jackson, 90, a resident of Albuquerque since 1981, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2000. Mrs. Jackson was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a talented artist. She is survived by one son, Bob Jackson and his wife, Ruby of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Betty Tierney and husband, Daniel of Beeville, TX, Rosemary Stakvel and husband, Curley of Cedar Crest, Lee Jackson of Houston, TX, Paula Hayden and husband, Jeff of Albuquerque, Laura Wood and husband, Woody, of Beeville, TX, Rex Jackson and wife, Julie of Austin, TX, and Tresa Coker and husband, David of Carrolton, TX; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, A.M. (Buck) Jackson in October, 1998; a son, Bill Jackson; and a grandson, Jay Morgan Jackson. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Services will be on Saturday, February 19, 2000 at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul NE at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Charles Crutchfield officiating. Entombment will follow.
