Alice Louise Navarro, age 59, passed away suddenly while vacationing in California on May 30, 2000. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Larry Navarro; two daughters, Janet Mares and husband, Ronnie, Vicki Boynton and husband, John; grandchildren, Lauren and Leanne Mares, Nicholas and Abigail Boynton. She is also survived by her mother, Patsy Emberty; sisters, Beverly Jones and husband, Johnny, Fern Peterson, Gloria Sellers and husband, Arlo; one brother, Paul Emberty; sisters-in-law, Caroline Luna and Irene Romero; brothers-in-law, Tony Navarro, George Navarro and wife, Tomasita; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. She was a lifelong resident of New Mexico and a retired employee of APS, where she was employed for over 25 years. A Memorial service will be held at St. Therese, 300 Mildred Ave. NW, on Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at 7:00 p.m.
