Obituary for Hultberg

Rose Hultberg, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, passed away peacefully on May 22nd. Rose was born in Yatesboro, PA. Her husband, Stanley Sr. preceded her in death in 1965. Rose retired from Sears after 25 years of service. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Hill and husband, Ernie of Lakewood, CO; son, Stan Hultberg Jr. and wife, Denise of Highland Ranch, CO and son, Fred Hultberg of Albuquerque; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Helmick of Durango, CO; eight grandchildren, Diane Morgan of Littleton, CO, Danny Goodale of Keystone, CO, Mark Hultberg of San Jose,CA, Cara Hultberg of San Diego, CA, Michelle Obermaier of Rio Rancho, Christopher Lewis of Highland Ranch, CO, Brett Hultberg of Phoenix, AZ, Jase Hultberg of Albuquerque; and six great-grandchildren, Andy and Jacob Morgan of Littleton, CO, Kylie Goodale of Keystone, CO, and CJ, Curtis and Cuyler Obermaier of Rio Rancho. A Mass was held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and a Memorial service was held at Sandia Springs Assisted Living Home. Cremation arrangements were done by French Mortuary. Rose was famous for her baking. She tried to make all her kids and grandkids goodies they liked. Her specialties were brownies, jam cookies, raisin cookies, english muffins, chocolate chip cookies, pies, and MM cookies. Rose's first love was bowling. She bowled a 200 game when she was 83. She also loved to play bridge and bingo. There will be a Graveside Memorial service, where all of her family will gather on July 1st. We will gather at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends are welcome to come join us. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital for books, toys and games for sick and injured children.
