Obituary for Honeyfield

Wanda M. Honeyfield, 71, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Thursday, June 1, 2000. She is survived by her son, Steven W. Honeyfield of Albuquerque; sisters, Doris Shelby of Brookfield, MO, and Dorothy Cheromiah of Albuquerque; nieces, Dorothy Bybee of Smithton, MO, Judy Corbin, Janice Osborn, and Jenny Dubbs, all of Albuquerque; and brothers-in-law, Robert Honeyfield and wife, Georgia of Leavenworth, KS, and William Honeyfield and wife, Liz of Denver, CO, and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verne C. Honeyfield. Mrs. Honeyfield was a member of University Heights United Methodist Church. For many years, she worked as a bookkeeper for Webster Insurance Co. in Albuquerque. Services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Rev. Jonathan Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Kelly Flynn, Brad Dubbs, Hovey Dean Corbin, Jr., Marshall Amend, Joey Bombard, and Hovey D. Corbin. Honorary pallbearers will be Les Dubbs, Ted Osborn, Erv Pfeifer, and Gary Webster.
