Obituary for Erickson

Lori Diamond Erickson, 25, born October 28, 1974 in New Orleans, LA, died May 29, 2000. She was born to David L. Diamond and Deborah Marendt Diamond. Lori was a good student and a happy child. Tragedy struck in 1987 when Lori was orphaned. She moved to Albuquerque where she lived with her grandmother, Eve Monson. Lori graduated from La Cueva High School in 1992. She met Scott in 1993 and they were married on February 26, 1994. They were married six years and were expecting their first child, a baby boy in October. Lori was employed for several years by United Airlines as a flight attendant. She loved animals and spent time finding homes for stray pets. Lori is survived by her grandmother, Eve Monson; aunt and uncle, John and Vicki Maenchen; cousin, Molly Maenchen; and several great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. Services will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, with Dr. Paul Debenport and Rev. Carl Soderburg officiating. Pallbearers will be John Maenchen, Matt Robbins, Bruce Jaramillo, Robert Kinney, Boz Ul-Haque, and Brian Erickson. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to P.A.C.A.
