Rose C. Gutierrez, a lifelong resident of New Mexico and beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed into God's arms May 29, 2000. She is survived by her son, Larry Gutierrez and wife, Jane; and Daughter Anita Tellez and husband, Phil of Oakton, VA; longtime friend and companion, Rosemary Villa; sister-in-law, Nora Perea; thirteen grandchildren; and thirty four great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many dear friends. She touched so many lives throughout her lifetime and she will be deeply missed and remembered always. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 1, 2000 at 12:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (Alameda & 4th). Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Perez, Mike Tellez, Tom Tellez, Dr. William Tellez, Mark Bustamante and Bernie Pena. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, in charge of the arrangements.
