Obituary for Marshall

Ralph R. Marshall, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949 went to be with his Lord on Easter Sunday. He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Elaine; son, Randy and his wife, Mary, children, Conner, Stephen, Matthew and Alison of Albuquerque; daughter, Carol Taylor and husband, Larry, children, Spencer and Kathryn; daughter, Sara Early and husband, Greg, children, Seth and Callie. Ralph served in the US Marines in World War II in the South Pacific and China. He served as Executive Director of the New Mexico Medical Society for 39 years, also was secretary and on Board of Directors, New Mexico Physician Mutual Liability Company, New Mexico Foundation for Medical Care, New Mexico Medical Review Association. He received the AMA Citation for Distinguished Service to the medical profession. He was an honorary member of the New Mexico Medical Society and Past Presidents Club. He was a Paul Harris Fellow of Albuquerque Rotary Club, recipient of the Community Service Award by the National Kidney Foundation of New Mexico in 1990, Albuquerque Racing Pigeon Association.
