Obituary for Lewis

Donald G. Lewis, 69, passed away at home April 14, 2000. He came to New Mexico in 1975 from Racine, Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joyce; three children, Pam and husband, Robert of Racine, WS, Jeffery and wife, Kathy of Rio Rancho; seven grandchildren, Justin (deceased) of Pocatel, ID, Cari, Heidi and Katy of Racine, WS, Jennifer, Nicole and James of Rio Rancho; one great-granddaughter, Christina of Racine, WS; sister, Sally and husband, Warren of SunCity, AZ; brother, James and wife, Julie of Lake Ridge, VA. David served in Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the B.P.O.E., Lodge #2500. There will be celebration of David's life Thursday, April 20, 2000, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Elks Lodge, 1530 Barbara Loop, Rio Rancho for family and friends. Cremation arrangements are by Sunrise Society of New Mexico. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sandia Hospice, 4725 Indian School NE, Suite #100, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
