Leota Clement, 63, a resident of Albuquerque for 22 years, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Raymond R. Clement; children, Mark Clement and Denise Clement of Albuquerque. She is preceded in death by both her mother and father, Leo and Mona Bastien. Leota was a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago. She taught at Sombre del Monte Elementary School in Albuquerque, Gulf Avenue School in Wilmington, CA, James Ottis Elementary School in Chicago and was a substitute teacher in various schools in Albuquerque. Services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria Blvd. NE, with Father Moore, officiating. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
