Felix F. Perea, 66, passed away Friday, February 4, 2000 of heart failure. His sister and nieces were with him when he died. He was born January 29, 1934. A resident of Albuquerque, he was a Navy Veteran in the Korean War from 1953 to 1957, he then served in the Reserves until 1961. He was preceded in death by his father, Perfecto Perea in 1937; his mother, Emma Perea in 1975; his sister, Jenny Moya in 1975. He is survived by one sister, Josie Zamora, along with nieces, nephews family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be at St. Anne's Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW, with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2000 with Deacon Charles Lucero officiating. Memorial Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday with Father John Shedlock officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 3, 1124 4th NW, 242-3200 will be providing the graveside honors.
