Edwin S. Weisberg, born February 23, 1906 in Newport, AR to Joe and Selma Weisberg, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2000. Mr. Weisberg is survived by one daughter, Susan Frisch of Denver, CO; one son, Bob Weisberg and his wife, Debbie of Corrales; five grandchildren, Christopher Weisberg, Jason Weisberg, Ross Cummings, Rebecca Frisch, and Zachary Frisch; one great-grandchild, Sydney Weisberg; a brother, Gene Weisberg and his wife, Beth of Denver CO. Mr. Weisberg was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Reve Wallins Weisberg in 1998. He had been a member of Congregation Albert since 1946, serving as president for two years. Funeral services for Mr. Weisberg will be held on Monday, March 27, 2000 at 2:30 p.m. in Congregation Albert, 3800 Louisiana Blvd. NE, with Rabbi Joseph R. Black and Cantor Jacqueline Shuchat-Marx officiating. A Shiva will be held Monday evening, 7:30 p.m., at Montebello on Academy. The family prefers memorials be made to Congregation Albert, 3800 Louisiana Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, are in charge of arrangements.
