Obituary for Woehle

Paul E. Woehle, 82, a resident of Belen, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2000. Paul had been a resident of Belen for seven years. He moved here from Ohio with his wife, Libby in 1992. Paul very quickly became involved in the community. He was a member of the Bethlehem Masonic Lodge, Ballut Abyad Temple, and D.A.V. He had his license with the New Mexico State Board of Pharmacy and the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy which he kept current. Paul worked for Tabet Pharmacy in Belen for three years. He was also involved with the Noon Optimist Club. Paul proudly served his country in WWII and held the rank of Lieutenant J.G. in the United States Navy. Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Libby of the family home in Belen; his son, Paul Jr."Skip" Woehle and his wife, Penney, Martie Curl and her husband, Bruce; his grandchildren, Todd, Andy, Shawn, and Heather. Paul is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many friends too numerous to name. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at Romero Funeral Home, with Reverend Milford Misener officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Curl, Billy Jones, Dave Baker, Kenton Berry, Ed Spitenagle, Fidel Tabet, Buddy Jackson, Scott Petersen, Carl Leesberg, Bill Crow, Tony Aguilar, and Larry Hargett. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the Bethlehem Masonic Lodge at 607 Goebel Ave., Belen, NM 87002. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen.
