Margaret H. Dunn, 93, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2000. She was born on October 2, 1906, in Hartsburg, IL and was a long-time resident of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband Chuck and her sister, Catherine Mills. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Charlene Johnston of Albuquerque and Marilyn Kinnard and husband, Ron of Topeka, KS; brother, George Van Gerpen and wife Jean of Flossmoor, IL; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She had been a school teacher and was a devoted mother, homemaker and a great cook. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and an active member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Margaret was a dear lady loved by all who knew her. Services will be held Friday, March 24 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE. Internment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale SE. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal SE.
