Obituary for Dickinson

In celebration of the life of Raul"Paul" B. Dickinson, 69, who passed away quietly at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2000 at the Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque. Paul was born and raised in Panama until he moved to Colorado in his teens. He served in the US Air Force as an Electronics, Radar and Seismology Technician during which time participated in the Nuclear testing at Frenchmans Flat, NV. Afterwards he worked in Colorado Springs as a TV repair man until hired for IBM with whom he was employed for 33 years. During his time at IBM, Paul was relocated 15 times to various cities around the US. Upon his retirement he lived briefly in Florida until he finally moved to Rio Rancho in 1992. Since his retirement he has traveled extensively around the world, including South America, Alaska, The Mediterranean, Europe and the Orient, as well as throughout the US. Paul is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gretchen; children, Kevin, Kenneth and Keith Dickinson; granddaughters, Kimberly and Ashley Dickinson; niece, Toni Ford; and mother in-law, Mildred Eastridge. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate it if donations were sent to the Albuquerque Rescue Mission.
