Obituary for Maddox

Alice Marie Maddox, 81, a 30 year Albuquerque resident, died Friday, March 17, 2000. Mrs. Maddox is survived by her daughters, Ellen Pennebaker and husband, Skip of Anchorage, AK, Georgia Reiswig and husband, Roy of Phoenix, AZ, Carolyn Corn and husband, Harold of Los Alamos, NM, Linda Kirkpatrick and husband, Jim of Edgewood, NM; nephew (raised as a son), Bob Maddox and wife, Dorothy of Hereford, TX; 11 precious grandchildren; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews. Her husband, George W. Maddox, preceded her in death in 1983. Mrs. Maddox was a lifelong Christian and a faithful servant of the Lord at Heights Christian Church in Albuquerque. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be remembered for her compassion and hospitality. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2000 at Heights Christian Church, 6935 Comanche Rd., NE, with Pastor V. Lynn Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd., NE.
