Obituary for Mirabal

Raymond S. Mirabal, 49, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 25, 2000. Raymond is the beloved husband of 23 years to Mrs. Bernice Mirabal. He is also survived by his daughters, Rozlyn Mirabal and son in law Manuel Montoya and Desirae Mirabal; Grandson, Julian Eliaz Raymond Montoya; His loving mother, Rose Mirabal; Life long friend, Genaro Tafoya; sisters, Ida Armijo and husband Venencio and Anna Maldonado and husband Ernest; Brothers, Richard Mirabal and wife Bernadette and Johnny Mirabal; his mother in law, Rosella Santillanes; father in law, Joe F. Garcia; sisters in law, Bernadette Gonzales and husband Gilbert, Sylvia Cordova and husband Antone and Jessica Garcia; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Lucario Mirabal. Raymond was a member of the catholic church and was rich with love, well loved by all his family and friends. A rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW with visitation at the church after 6:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 9:00 at St. Anne Catholic Church with final viewing at the church after 8:30. Father Balizan, celebrant. Interment will follow in the Seboyeta Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Genaro Tafoya, Richard Mirabal, Gilbert Gonzales, Ernie Maldonado, Venencio Armijo and Johnny Mirabal. Honorary will be Joe Garcia, Victor Candelaria, David Sanchez, Manuel Montoya, Richy Gallegos, Leonard Miera and Tony Madrid. The family is accepting donations. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
