In Loving Memory Of James D. (Jim Grim) 1931-2000The Lord in his wisdom, took Dad home on Christmas Eve. He passed peacefully in his sleep. Jim was from Dallas, SD. He moved to New Mexico in 1960. He is survived by his wife, Shirlene of Highland Meadows; a sister, Dorthy Novotny of Winner, SD; two daughters, Lisa of Highland Meadows, and Laura of Oriskany Falls, NY; two sons, Mark of Bernalillo and Peter of Corrales; he also had two stepchildren, Monica and Allen of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Peter, Harley, Sadie, Chris, Will, Lisa, Alex, Tabitha and Tristan; and his nieces and nephews. You are loved and will be missed. Jim was the best crane operator in New Mexico. Services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Road NW, with Pastor Mike Sams officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Peter Grim, Mark Grim, James Lujan, Peter Lujan, Harley Lujan and Allen Holley. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Kopkey, Chris Walter and Danny Bero French Mortuary, 9300 Golf Course Road NW.
