Alice E. Merren, 74, passed away Friday after a yearlong illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, George T. Merren. She is survived by her three sons, Richard Wagner of Bangkok, Thailand, Tom and David Merren of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her brother, Pete Snyder of Chicago, Illinois; two daughters-in-law, and two granddaughters. An evening service will be conducted Monday, May 15, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alameda Mortuary. A graveside service will take place Tuesday at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alameda Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be mad to the American Legion Post 69. Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th St. Gary F. Santillanes C.F.S.P.
