Dorothy L. Farr died on May 11, 2000. She is survived by her son, Frederick Farr; daughter, Barbara Renner and her husband, Charles of Phoenix, Arizona; and grandchildren, Sarah Farr, Jason Farr, Jackie Renner, and Brian Renner. She was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church, being active as a Deaconess and with the Presbyterian Women's Group. Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother and dedicated her life to her family, friends and neighbors. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 14, 2000 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE. Memorial Service to be held at Immanuel Presbyterian Church at 114 Carlisle SE on May 15, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to immediately follow at the church. Interment to take place on May 15, 2000, at 3:30 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immanuel Presbyterian Church for distribution to families in need. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE, in charge of arrangements.
