Nancy Ann Holston Thacker Sowanick Manit began another spiritual journey on May 10, 2000, planting day, at her home in Albuquerque. She was 61 years old and is survived by her seven children, Brenda Sue, Karen Lee, Steven Brett, Laura Kim, Scott Kenneth, Kira Aniya, and Paul Jesse III; her 24 grandchildren and her three great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are husband, Harvey Lee Thacker and Paul Jesse Sowanick II; and brother, Jack Holston. She really didn't like the fact that the white man killed off the buffalo. She embraced all religions, all people, all animals (except porcupines). Contributions can be made in her name to Cornucopia Adult Daycare Center and Homemaker Services, 877-1310. Prayers and service will be held on Saturday, May 13 at her home at 2003 Brown Rd.
