Obituary for Haar

Eric Haar passed away unexpectedly May 3, 2000 at the age of 21. He is survived by his parents, Patrick and Debra of Albuquerque; brother, Jon and his wife, Heather of South Korea; sister, Allison of Albuquerque; grandparents, Leo and Eleanor Haar of Aberdeen, South Dakota and Rodney and Delores Peterson of Bismarck, ND; five uncles, Michael Haar and wife, Pam of Silver Lake, KS, Brad Haar and wife, Shirley of Madison, SD, John Haar of Chicago, Brian Peterson and wife, Judy of Bismarck, ND and Bruce Peterson and wife, Tammy of Chandler, AZ; and many cousins and good friends, Lauren and Kristen Frost, Sean Mackey, Stuart Lamb, John Coyle and many others. Eric attended schools in Minnesota and New Mexico before graduating from La Cueva High School in May, 1997. After graduation he worked at a variety of jobs and attended college in South Dakota for a year. Eric was an avid soccer and hockey player and he had a passion for model trains. He left behind a great number of people whom he helped in various ways. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 6901 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Aaron Couch officiating. Pallbearers will be Stuart Lamb, John Coyle, David Hendrickson, Sean Mackay, Sage Moore and Brian Peterson. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Monday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Hospital, 806 Central Ave. SE.
