Obituary for Lafferty

Charles Buddy Lafferty, 67, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958, died Tuesday, August 1, 2000. He is survived by his wife of almost 42 years, Anna Mae Lafferty of the family home; sons, Edward D. Lafferty and wife, Donna of Tucumcari, and Bobby C. Lafferty of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jason and Jennifer Lafferty; and mother-in-law, Dorothy E. Foote of Tucumcari. Mr. Lafferty was a contractor for 16 years at the Sandia National Laboratory working in the"wind tunnel". He also worked in the heating and air conditioning field throughout Albuquerque and New Mexico. On February 29, 1997, he retired from the Lab and the National Pipetrades Union, Local 412. As his family, we wish to thank Dr. Beddo, Dr. Seelinger, and all of the Presbyterian Hospice Staff for their kind care and help. We also want to thank all of Buddys co-workers in Building 865 at Sandia National Labs for your faithful support and visits. Graveside memorial services will be held Friday, August 4, 2000, 11:00 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
