Luella E. Deal, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, died Monday, July 31, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene M. Hotzel of Albuquerque; sons, Donald W. Hotzel and wife, Mary Ann of Huntsville, AL and Alfred W. Hotzel and wife, Jo Anne of Delavan, WI; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Link and husband, Gordon of Milwaukee, WI, Theresa Koser and husband, Ervin of Sturtevant, WI, Betty Marklelewski and husband, Dick of Cottage Grove, WI and Dorothy Sullivan of Wisconsin; brothers, Roger Grandow and wife, Dorothy of Wisconsin, Clyde Grandeau and wife, Evelyn of California and Norman Grandow of Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Deal was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Deal; and son, Ronald W. Hotzel. Services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Cremation will take place after services.
