Katherine Bruskas, 84, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, August 1, 2000. She is survived by her son, Jim Bruskas and wife, Anne; daughter, Angie Scott and husband, Phil; son, Tony Bruskas; grandchildren, James Matthew Bruskas, Robyn Carrie Bruskas, Phillip Christopher Scott and Katherine Dorothy Scott; brother, George Tsaguris and wife, Helene of Tucson, AZ; and sister, Tessie Renshaw of Phoenix, AZ. Mrs. Bruskas was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Bruskas Sr. in 1995. She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church where she was active in various organizations and functions. Mrs. Bruskas was also past president of Philoptochos organization. Trisagion will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High SE, with Father Mario Giannopoulos reciting. Services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m., at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, with Father Mario Giannopoulos officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be James L. Bruskas, Chris Kirikos, Paul Billingham, Nick Kapnison, Charles Burk and James Garcia. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
