Luis Silva, our beloved Luis is now running with the Angels. Luis Silva, 45, a resident of Peralta, NM passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2000 after a brief illness. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Parish in Peralta. Luis was employed by Keers Environmental and graduated from T.V.I. as an Environmental Technician. Luis was preceded in death by his parents, Luisa Salazar Silva of Lincoln, NM and Dennis Silva of Fierro, NM. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Montoya Silva; his two sons, John Paul, and Daniel Silva and daughter, Marie; his sisters, Elizabeth Silva Aragon and her husband, Anthony of Los Lunas, Eva Silva Yotter and her husband, Tony of Albuquerque, Emily Silva Ford of Portales, Lucia Silva of Amarillo, Dianna Silva-Gutierrez of Albuquerque; his brothers, Lauro Silva and his wife, Magdalena, Jose Silva, Miguel Silva, Adam Silva, and Steve Silva and his wife, Michelle, Dionicio Silva and his wife, Lydia; his 40 nieces and nephews; 25 great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many loving aunts, cousins, and friends. A Viewing will be held on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Sangre de Cristo Church of Valencia followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 a.m. also at the Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church. Interment will take place in the Lincoln Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Gurule, Camilo Renteria, Rigoberto Holguin, Jason and Larry Ford, Jody Nix. The family will be receiving visitors at Anthony and Elizabeth Aragon's residence in Peralta. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen, NM.
