Obituary for Deiss

Wilhelmina Deiss, a celebration of her life will be held Monday, April 3, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 210 Alvarado SE, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Heffelfinger officiating. Lunch will follow at Furrs Cafeteria. Her ashes will be interred at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Wilhelmina was born February 21, 1912 to Hermann and Anna Lorenzen, St. John's, Maryland. She married Robert Henry Deiss June 21, 1941 in Washington, DC. The family moved to Albuquerque in 1954 where she lived until moving to Denton, TX to be with her daughter, Martha."Willy" passed away September 18, 1999, peacefully. She is also survived by grandsons, Bradley and Kevin Delahunty, both currently residing in Seattle, WA. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, Redeemer Lutheran Church, St. Paul's Lutheran Church and University Center Building Fund, Denton, TX, or the organization of the giver's choice.
