John C. Olloway Sr., 84, peacefully passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 2, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Shelly; ten children, Dorothy Vickers, Bernice Terry, Joyce Olloway, Doris Jean Olloway, John Olloway Jr., Gertrude Woods, Jennifer Olloway, Christina Olloway, John Steven Olloway and Hershul Olloway; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2000, at Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, at Joy Light Church of God in Christ, 409 Santa Fe, with Rev. Claude Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park.
