Mary E. Coffman Grimes, a longtime resident and businesswoman in Albuquerque, died in Denver on January 30, 2000. She was 74. Ms. Grimes, originally from Indiana, lived in Albuquerque from 1971 to 1999 and owned North Gate Hair Design. She is survived by three daughters, Margie Grimes Adams, Denver, Nanette Grimes, Portland, OR, and Julie Slane, Chicago; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; and a sister, Gwendolyn Coffman Dobbs, West Lafayette, IN.
