Obituary for Zlotkin

Robert"Bob" Zlotkin, 57, a resident of Albuquerque for over 23 years, died Tuesday, February 1, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Evelyn; daughter, Stacy; son, Ian L. and wife, Letha; grandchildren, Jonnathon, Cheyenne and Kaylee; brother, Bernard and wife, Arlene; brother-in-law, Rob Bloch; father-in-law, Merritt Bloch; and many friends and relatives. Bob served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He received the Award of Valor from the City of New York where he served as a volunteer auxiliary policeman. Bob was also a volunteer firefighter in New York and New Mexico, as well as being a member and volunteer with the American Red Cross Disaster Team. He was also a C.P.R. and First Aid Instructor. He was a member of Congregation Albert for over 20 years. He loved the outdoors, fishing and sports. Services will be held Friday, 1:30 p.m., at Congregation Albert, 3800 Louisiana NE, with Rabbi Joseph Black officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
