Francis Buckley"Sam" Burch passed away after a longterm illness on January 31, 2000. He had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1957. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; son, Garth Burch; daughters, Gail Sholtis and Thea Smith; grandchildren, Miranda, Christal, Danielle, Tiffany, Lucas, Jennifer, Garth Jr., Brittany and Hannah. Mr. Burch served in the Navy during WWII. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, Local 401, American Legion Post 49, and the Carpenters Local 411. Family graveside services will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Friday, February 4, 2000, at 1:00 p.m. Dad/Grandpa, we love you and will miss you!
