Obituary for Harban

Robert (Bob) C. Harban, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2000. He was born on March 12, 1913 in Chicago, IL of Hammond Harban and Edith Duguid Harban. He graduated from NM Tech in Socorro in 1942 and worked as a plant superintendent with the American Smelting & Refining Co. until his retirement in 1975. His wife, Ruth (Bursum Paxton) Harban; and a brother, Arthur Harban, preceded him in death. He is survived by his step-son, David O. Paxton and wife, Nancy of Albuquerque; one brother, John Harban and wife, Vivian of Orland Park, IL; step-grandchildren, Deborah C. Antonucci, Mark E. Paxton and Matthew R. Paxton; and Pat Mainetti, a long time companion. If friends desire, they may contribute to the New Mexico Alzheimer's Association, 1330 San Pedro NE, Albuquerque 87110. No services are planned.
