Obituary for Enns

Karl C. Enns, 94, born in Inman, Kansas on October 9, 1905 to Dick and Millicent Enns, died Wednesday, January 26, 2000. Mr. Enns moved to Albuquerque in 1950. He is survived by his wife, Nettie Darrah whom he married on June 20, 1930; his son, Jack D. Enns and wife, Katherine of Albuquerque; daughter, Janet E. Alexander and husband, Dick of Holbrook, AZ; six grandchildren, Karl David Enns, Beth Enns, Joyce Selfridge, all of Albuquerque, Ted Alexander of Phoenix, Douglas Alexander of Tempe, AZ and Scott Alexander of Phoenix, AZ; and five great-grandchildren, Johannah Alexander of Tempe, AZ, Charlotte Selfridge, Naomi Selfridge, Julie Selfridge and Dustin Enns, all of Albuquerque. Mr. Enns was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Margaret Klassen and Luty Lee White. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. Karl was a salesman. Mr. Enns worked at Chief Pontiac, and Quality Pontiac and was also a broker in the real estate business, until he retired in 1969. He loved sports and participated in them in the Inman schools and at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Mr. Enns was an avid Lobo fan for 50 years.
