Mary Sutton Smith passed away on August 2, 2000 in Albuquerque, following a short illness. She was born August 11, 1909 in Seneca, Missouri to Smith Alexander Sutton and Martha Reneer Sutton. She married Wilbur Earl Smith Jr. in July, 1928. He preceded her in death in 1959. There were three children of this marriage, Martha Smith of Conroe, TX, Wilbur E. Smith III and wife, Kaye of LaPorte, TX, and Michael S. Smith of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Lisa Leming of Tomball, TX, Linda Rampy and husband, Ty of Calvert, TX, and Corey Jason Smith of Ft. Meade, MD; three great-grandchildren, Madison and Ty Evans Rampy of Calvert, TX and Mari Margaret Leming of Tomball, TX; one nephew, Paul William Matthews and wife, Rita of Oklahoma City, OK. Mary had one sister, Bernice Sutton Matthews Brady of Seneca, Missouri, who preceded her in death. There will be cremation with a memorial service at a later date.
