William C. Polachek, 57, a resident of Albuquerque for 21 years, died Thursday, August 3, 2000. He is survived by his sons, William J. Polachek of Milwaukee, WI and Benjamin T. Polachek of Dallas, TX; grandsons, William E. Polachek of Virginia Beach, VA, Kyle A. Polachek of Virginia Beach, VA, Dalton A. Polachek of Milwaukee, WI and Gerald D.W. Polachek of Milwaukee, WI; brothers, Jack J. Polachek of Dallas, TX, Tom J. Polachek of Rio Rancho, NM, and Rick E. Polachek and wife, Sue of Dallas, TX; sisters, Pam Youngberg and husband, Carl of Tucson, AZ, Mary Elizabeth Soukup of Algonquin, IL and Margaret Dains of Las Vegas, NV and Cathy A. Gawrowski and husband, Jim of Huntsville, UT. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Polachek. William was a member of the American Society of Quality Control and a member of the Sandia Ski Patrol. He volunteered with the Forestry Service and New Day Shelter. Memorial services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming NE, Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association of NM, 525 San Pedro NE #101, 87108, or to New Day Shelter, 2820 Ridgecrest Dr. SE, 87108.
