Clifford P. Merkel, 77, passed away in Albuquerque, August 2, 2000. He was a longtime resident of St. Paul, Minnesota. Clifford is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Merkel; three children, Katherine White and husband, James of Albuquerque, William Merkel and wife, Susan of St. Paul, MN, Peter Merkel and wife, Ginny of Deering, NH; three grandchildren, Jennifer White, Michael Merkel, and Matthew Merkel; three great-granddaughters; two brothers; two sisters; and many other family and friends who will miss him.
